Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt art IT is a comprehensive programme devoted to the professionalisation of women in the arts. A one-year postgraduate course conveys the specific professional skills and information that are needed to cope with the complex demands of independent artistic activity. The goal is for each participant to develop her own perspective as she goes about knowledgably and self-confidently shaping her career in the fine arts.
Female fine artists from all disciplines are cordially invited to apply. We welcome applications from artists with international backgrounds. The prerequisite for participation is a diploma in the fine arts from a university or art academy or a comparable qualification, as well as some degree of professional experience. We ask those who are self-taught to demonstrate adequate practical professional experience. There is no upper age limit.
The main language of course instruction is German. However, application materials in English are accepted and interviews can be conducted in English upon request.
If you are selected to participate in the course, you must show proof of residence in Berlin (obtain a certificate of residence). By accepting, you agree to be present and participate in the entire year-long programme. The application call is subject to the allocation of funds. Participation is free of charge.
